AL-01H Mk2 Frame

Using these parts creates a framework that is capable of raising the majority of furniture available today including armchairs, settees, riser recliners & recliners and recliner settees with the added feature of granting total access from the front or back for a stand-aid, overchair table or trolley.
The golden rule for furniture raising is to support all legs, feet or castors that are in contact with the floor before the furniture is raised. Because of this a single base frame cannot raise a piece of furniture on its own, two would be required as a minimum. The total number may be larger depending on the furniture you are wanting to raise. You also need to add a fitting suitable for the feet or wheels of your furniture.
There are two main things to consider: the raising element and the fixing element.
There are three types of raiser available here:
- The Alexander Universal Raiser Mk1 has a simple, horizontal bar in contact with the floor;
- The new Alexander Universal Raiser Mk2 has a very thin elliptical foot which gives improved stability and a zero trip hazard;
- The Furniture Disc Raiser is a single leg raiser with a thin, trip-resistant base. Several of these can be used or it is often used with the Mk2 above to support a 5th leg.
After the raising element comes the type of fixing. These are the parts that fit your furniture, feet or castors. There's a wide choice available so please click on each option to review each image along with more information in the specifications below.
Lastly, for wider furniture, you may need an extender bar which increases each Universal Raiser frame up to 38cm in length.

- AL-07 Attaches directly to the furnitures base framework using screws. 12 cm long
- AL08 For furniture with round or square legs. It can be clamped in position onto the furnitures leg for total security:
- AL08-3 is 9 x 9cm and suitable for legs up to 7cm wide
- AL08-4 is 11.5 x 11cm and suitable for legs up to 10cm wide - AL-09 Fixes directly to the furniture legs/feet from underneath using the fixing screws supplied. It is particularly useful on large legged modern furniture. Size: 7.5cm square
- AL11 Designed to accommodate legs that are set at an angle where the 4 sided cup might not be suitable:
- AL11-3 is 9 x 9cm and suitable for angled legs up to 7cm wide
- AL11-4 is 11.5 x 11cm and suitable for angled legs up to 10cm wide - AL-12 is a Recliner & Riser Recliner Attachment capable of fixing to most recliner or riser recliner chairs
- AL-13 is is a Twin Foot Recliner & Riser Recliner Attachment that is designed to support twin or double-up recliner feet that are situated too close together to work with our standard Alexander Recliner & Riser Recliner Attachment. These twin feet can often be seen in the middle sections of recliner settees, or on the four corners underneath a recliner chair.
