Dressing
Inventive tools to help with putting or taking off clothing. Disability aids for dressing include elastic laces, sock and stocking aids, shoehorns and many other inventive devices. Dressing aids for the elderly are particularly important as one loses one's flexibility. Reaching over the shoulders or down to your feet can become difficult in old age. Dressing aids for disabled people who have suffered a stroke are often of great benefit through the rehabilitation process. Stroke can lead to weakness or reduced co-ordination in localized areas of the body so aids which enable single-handed use are particularly relevant.
