The sole is cushioned and made from hard wearing and grippy rubber.

Excellent slippers
Review by A Sloan Posted on 19/01/2016I purchased the extra wide slippers for my 77 year old father who suffers from severe gout. His feet swell so much, are really painful and his toe joints are enlarged & misaligned. He loves these slippers, he opened them xmas day and has hardly taken them off since. He says they are the most comfortable footwear he has worn in years. Excellent purchase, I was so pleased i'd bought him something that really helps him. Rating out of 5, it's a 10!!
