SPECIAL OFFER hydrobubble for bubble pep

Product Details

The HydroBubble Bubble PEP System, a ground-breaking device developed by the Cystic Fibrosis Team from South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust in collaboration with the University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust and Mark Moran MBE from Hydrate for Health.

The HydroBubble is designed to revolutionize the delivery of Bubble PEP physiotherapy, particularly for children with Cystic Fibrosis.

Recognizing its potential benefits for a wide range of respiratory patients we are excited to bring this innovative solution to the forefront of respiratory care.

Traditionally Bubble PEP physiotherapy has been administered using a 1-litre bottle of sterile water along with suction tubing. However, this method results in significant waste, poses challenges in proper cleaning, and can harbour respiratory pathogens, necessitating disposal after each use. Moreover, the existing devices in the market are costly and lack the robustness and sustainability required for widespread adoption.

Airway clearance helps to keep your lungs healthy by clearing secretions. Secretions left in the lungs can increase your risk of infections. Bubble PEP is a physiotherapy technique used to clear secretions (phlegm/sputum) from the lungs and is a form of chest physiotherapy. It works by keeping your airways open. This in turn moves secretions up towards the larger airways where it can be cleared by a huff or a cough. It produces vibrations in the lungs to help loosen and move secretions. This will help to clear secretions from the chest and will reduce risk of infections.

Patients, particularly those with Cystic Fibrosis, have embraced the HydroBubble finding fun in their physiotherapy routines, which ultimately improves compliance. Furthermore, its versatility makes it suitable for various respiratory conditions requiring Bubble PEP treatment.
