The Plug Tugs - Pack of 10 are a useful aid for removing electrical plugs from sockets.
When attached to the plug a finger loop is made available, allowing more leverage to be applied.

They are also great for unplugging iphone chargers which are completely smooth and have no grooves or projections to grip. Very reasonable in price.
