Product Details

The slant of the Handy Cup means that it doesn't require the user to tip their head back in order to drink from it.

Typically used by those with decreased mobility of the neck or shoulders, it can be tipped further than a normal cup without the rim touching the drinker's nose.

Large handles mean all four fingers can be inserted on both sides, increasing control.

The HandyCup also features a wide base, increasing its stability.

It is an ideal aid for those with a weak grip, reduced neck flexibility or someone in a wheelchair with a headrest.

The Handy Cup is available in blue, green, red and transparent. Spare lids are also available.

All our Handy Cups are supplied with a lid and are suitable for the microwave and dishwasher.

The handycups were bought for my husband, who has motor neuron disease and has difficulty using ordinary cups. They are more expensive than other ones but we think that they are well worth the difference as they are far more robust and after several cycles in the dishwasher still look perfect, unlike cheaper alternatives which had already cracked. The colours are really fun.

The cup makes drinking easier when unable to tip head back, the lid/spout prevents spills and the transparency helps to monitor fluid intake. The interior angle between side and base is tricky to clean adequately, the large handle grips and the large flat base are well thought out.

My 5 year old has cerebral palsy and this is by far the best cup we have - and we have tried all sorts. We don’t use the lid but the tilt it perfect and she is able to hold it despite limited use of one hand.

The handycup is an excellent item, been invaluable to me during hospital stays and many occasions. Design works really well for those with shaky grip and who need to lie down a lot too.

The handycup is very useful for my mother, who has dementia and also a problem with her neck which means she can't bend down to sip from a cup in the usual way. It did take her a little while to get used to the cup, but she uses it quite happily now. A problem solved.

The handycups were purchased for a local hospice. They had researched the various cups on the market and this was deemed the best. Lid stays secure, dishwasher proof and best of all the 'slant'. 'will make such a difference to our patient care'' 'clever design, where can I get one for use at home?' some of the comments I heard when I presented them to the hospice.

I am very pleased with the handycup I bought for my husband. It seems to be much more robust than the ones I had been buying from boots – they only lasted a few weeks before the plastic cracked. The design of the handycup is good; nice large handles, and the angled shape is a clever idea. My only tiny criticism is that sometimes it’s tricky to get the last scrap of sugar, for example, from the corners when washing up. i’d give it 4.9 out of 5!

My father would give the handycup a ratingof 5/5. He loved being able to hold the cup with two handles and the tilted base allows him to drain the cup more easily.

The two handled handycup with lid is ideal for my husband who has a severe tremor, he can drink from this perfectly well. I especially liked the angle of the cup which makes it superior to many others. I would give the product and your service 5 out of 5.

The handycup was brilliant, especially the way it is slanted as my mum finds it difficult to bend her head forward to drink and the large sturdy handles are great for her parkinson's. The staff at the nursing home were most impressed.
