The Thermo Mug helps retain the temperature of either hot or cold drinks, and includes a large handle for easy gripping.
Ideal for elderly people, those with a weaker grip or conditions such as Arthritis, this colourful cup helps the user drink safely and securely.
It includes a wide base for added stability and a large, smooth handle.
A nice variety of bright colour options are available along with a very handy Glow in the Dark option. This "firefly" Glow in the Dark option is the same keep-warm mug with instead of a bright colour, it glows after a short time on a light source. This makes it the ideal choice for safe access to a drink in dark rooms.
The hidden thermo function keeps the drink at the desired temperature for a long time. Slow drinkers - whether young or old, with or without a handicap - can take as much time as they like when drinking.
This mug is a useful aid for those of us with swallowing disorders / dysphagia, because in addition to the thermo function, the insulated cup offers maximum grip safety thanks to the large, ergonomically shaped handle. The reusable cup is well-balanced in the hand and also provides a secure grip for children, older folk and people with impairments due to multiple sclerosis, stroke, dementia or Parkinson's disease.
The Thermo Mug is both microwave and dishwasher safe.
These mugs can be combined with the Ornamin lids (available in our Ornamin Drinking Aids category) for more controlled drinking.
