Lightweight Perching Stool
Product Details
The Lightweight Perching Stool is for use as a seat in the shower to aid individuals who may not be able to stand for long periods.
An aluminium frame means it is both super lightweight for easily portability and positioning and also corrosion resistant.
The moulded plastic seat adds the same benefits.
For extra safety and confidence the feet are non-slip and the seat height is adjustable.
Height adjustment: 510-640mm (20 - 25 inches) in 10mm (1/2 inch) steps.
Width of seat: 375mm (17 3/4 inches).
Depth of seat: 280mm (11 inches).
Between-handle width: 490mm (19 1/4 inches).
Footprint at bottom: 450 x 350mm (17 3/4 x 13 3/4 inches).
Weight: 1.7Kg (1/4 stone).
The maximum user weight of the Lightweight Perching Stool is 160Kg (25 stone).
Please note that this stool is not suitable for people who have the use of just one hand.
It is important for its safety that the user applies pressure to both handles at the same time to avoid tipping.
