Product Details

For assistance when entering or exiting the home, we provide the Outdoor Grab Rail 18 inch.

It is ideal for elderly or disabled users that find steps difficult.

It features a moulded plastic outer section to provide a secure and comfortable hand grip.

An aluminium inner core helps to keep the weight down whilst providing strength and robustness.

The Outdoor Grab Rail 18 inch is supplied in a dark green colour to help it blend discreetly into the surrounding wall.

Max user weight: 190kg (30 stone).

Length: 450mm (18 inches).

    We had a white metal grab rail outside our back door that became very rusty. this time we purchased 2 grab rails for the back and front door . The rails are strong, antislip, with good grips and outer plastic covering to protect from rust. very easy to install . delivery service excellent.

    Needed for brick wall by back door (vertical fixing). We’re all getting older! Haven’t put up yet as waiting for screws and plugs (ordered elsewhere). Slightly surprising they only have 2 screw holes per fixing point whereas bathroom grab rails have 5.

    This was purchased to match an existing one, which I had bought locally and installed a few years ago. I have been with the performance and durability of that prima rail over the last five years. Advancing years means ir was sensible to fit one on the other side of the back door. A five-minute job to fit and a superb boost to confidence and safety. I can thoroughly recommend this product from essential aids, for proven quality and also speed of delivery and cost, which, including delivery, was nearly half as much as I paid locally five years ago.

    I am delighted with my grab rails. i ordered 4 for my garden. we have steps both sides of our bungalow and the rails give me a firm and reassuring grip to enable me to negotiate them. i would definitely recommend thecrails to anyone who is a bit unsteady on their feet.

    I have these on the front and back of my walls by the doors. I struggle with my knee and hip and need the extra support to get up the step safely. They have been a god send to me. easy to install and very strong. Plus they don't rust or fade. good service an doubt I will be needing more items very soon 👍.

    These grab rails are great, they are easy to install, modern and very rigid. I've recently put up 6 and at the age of 78 I totally recommend them. Better to be safe ,than to be sorry.

    I chose this handle to replace a rusty metal one. It looks good and gives a secure grip. I also found it easy to install (i got my son-in-law to do it so what could be easier but it didn't take home very long).

    We had 1 grab-rail already, needed a 2nd one. sturdy and safe, n9 chance of freezing steel, no chance if slippery grips. the price is perfect, other sites charge £20 for exactly the same rail! just 1 advise, to put a grab-rail from 45 cm in a 1 meter box for transport is a bit over the top. Be more envrironmentally friendly by using smaller packaging.

    The rails were exactly what we needed for our rear door steps, which can get very slippery when wet and our balance is not what it was! Robustly built, surprisinly unobtrusive and at a fair price, supported by quick delivery. highly recommended.

    The handrails were fitted for my elderly mother at her back door. She is delighted with them. They do not detract from the appearance of the house like white metal ones do. They are sturdy and easy to grip. We had priced similar ones locally but these were much cheaper.

    Your outdoor grab rails are ideal; promptly delivered, discretely coloured, pleasant to touch hot or cold, and non-rusting. A pity you do not include the fixing screws - I used countersunk ones.

    I purchased the prima outdoor grab rail on-line for my father (aged 91) after he had a fall exiting the back door of his house. It arrived very quickly and my brother installed it with no problems at all. 5 out of 5 rating for quality of the product, ease of installation and speedy delivery.

    I am very satisfied with the prima outdoor grab rail, it was just what we needed. However, it would have been an asset if the 4 screws that were required had been supplied with it as we had a problem acquiring the correct ones. We give it 4 out of 5 rate. M.schofield.

    My wife has balance and mobility problems resulting from parkinson’s, so I have now installed six of your prima grab rails in strategic positions inside as well as outside our house. Although they are described as for outdoor use, they blend unobtrusively with indoor decor and are substantial and reliable.

    I am most impressed with the prima outdoor grab rails that I bought from yourselves and also your excellent service. I would give a rating of five without hesitation. Compared to other grab rails these ones are not cold to touch (plastic over aluminium), discrete (dark green rather than white as is commonly installed outside houses) and good grip because of the rubber raised grips on them. A really excellent product. Others that have seen them have been very impressed too.
