Excellent service and wheelchair

The wheelchair is very nice and much lighter than my son's other one. Bought as second one to have at home ready for hospital appointments etc when needed. Very pleased with it and will be so much easier lifting it in and out of the car.

Review by M Phillips Posted on 02/05/2021Although I haven't used this yet, it appears to be well made and will do the job of getting two elderly ladies out and about after a year 'locked' up in their homes. Can't wait to try it out. Seems lightweight and easy to fold. Excellent and sturdy so far.

Great wheelchair, Terrible courier
Review by H Robinson Posted on 02/05/2021The wheelchair arrived within 48 hours of ordering which is great service, the wheelchair itself is of good quality and at a good price compared with competitors. I arrived home after a couple of hours out to find the wheelchair in its box on the front door step. Anyone passing could have taken it. I am not sure which courier was used but this is not acceptable. reply from essential aids: please accept our sincere apologies - we have taken this up with the courier concerned and they have assured us that it is a one-off and won't be happening again.

Excellent chair and support from Essential Aids
Review by G Anderson Posted on 13/09/2017The breezy moonlite is the first wheelchair we have purchased and we are very pleased with it. Very easy to open and put away again and takes up very little room when folded up. Bought for an 89 year old who is only 4 feet 10 inches and has bad arthritis in shoulders, knees and feet. She found the chair very comfortable and was able to get in and out of it without any problems. The design of the chair arms was helpful in assisting her get up from a sitting position. We were very impressed with the support offered by essential aids staff we spoke to on the telephone both in terms of the advice they provided about the chair and assistance given when we experienced difficulties with delivery. We would definitely use essential aid again.
