The XS2 Self Propelled Wheelchair has a range of features that make it an excellent choice of chair.
With an aluminum frame, the chair is strong and sturdy but also lightweight.
The frame also has an innovative folding mechanism, making the XS2 Self Propelled Wheelchair easy to store or transport.
Comfort is provided by the padded seat and backrest, and additional support comes in the form of the dual armrests.
These are also padded and can be flipped up out of the way when transferring on and off the chair.
A pair of footrests offer extra stability, and these too can be moved out of the way during transfers.
In order to maximise the XS2 Self Propelled Wheelchair's maneuverability, the two front wheels can swivel.
They are also low maintenance and have puncture-proof tyres.
The XS2 can be supplied in either a self-propelled model (with large rear wheels) or as a transit chair (with smaller, solid rear wheels).
The large rear wheels have pneumatic tyres for a smooth ride and handrails to enable self-propulsion.
Each model is available in a choice of three seat widths - 40, 45 or 50cm (16, 18 or 20 inches).
Safety is assured by the two parking brakes - these can be operate whilst sat in the chair or by an attendant.
A seatbelt helps to keep the user safely seated and in the correct position.
