This latest version of our Curved Transfer Glideboard is particularly useful for side by side sitting transfers that involve a chair or wheelchair.
Made from lightweight, but incredibly strong acrylic, it is easy to lift and position. Transferring between two surfaces where you also have the added obstacle of a chair arm, is often awkward and can feel precarious. The inside curve of this sitting transfer board has been carefully calculated to assist.
Transfer boards are most suitable for people who have strength in their arms to move without assistance.
