For people who require long-term walking support, the Permanent User Crutches are ideal.
They have been constructed using lightweight yet strong aluminium, for a confident and long product life.
The one-piece shaft design means they don't suffer from the squeaks and rattles which are often features of crutches with adjustable-length shafts.
To make them silent when in use, the crutches do not have the standard adjustment holes.
The Permanent User Crutches are supplied in one size, but they may be cut with a hacksaw to the user's required length.
These crutches are fitted with 'comfy' ergonomically designed handles, improving weight distribution.
Weight: 800g (1 1/2lbs) each.
Max safe user weight: 190kg (30 stone).
Handle to floor length: 960mm (38 inches).
Handle to floor with stepsafe feet: 1040mm (41 inches).
Cuff diameter: 100mm (4 inches).
Cuff length: 229mm (9 inches).

Review by P Meaden Posted on 18/03/2020 13:07:38These crutches are built to a very high standard. they are perfectly designed for the permanent crutch user who’s looking for something robust and long-lasting, and they offer good value for money. the crutches are sturdy but light, and the comfy handles provide a good grip and reduce fatigue on the hands. please be aware that these crutches are not adjustable; they must be cut to the desired length. but that’s what makes them so good; you won’t get those annoying clicking sounds which you always do with adjustable crutches. -

Review by Geoff Webb Posted on 29/04/2013 09:52:53The permanent user crutches s are very good in many ways: strong, quieter than two-piece adjustable crutches and although the moulded grips are comfortable they can be rather frustrating when you grab the left hand crutch with your right hand – it doesn’t fit! I’ve got used to that now though. I’d rate them at 4½ out of 5. -
