Product Details
With an adjustable support bar, the Phase II Multi Podus® Ankle Support can be used to control the range of motion of the ankle joint.
It can be incrementally set between 10 degrees of dorsiflexion and 40 degrees of plantarflexion.
This offers a controlled, static stretch to the foot that helps in the recovery from foot and ankle contractures.
The Phase II Multi Podus® Ankle Support is an economical alternative to serial casting that can be removed to enable therapy and washing to be performed.
It is suitable for patients with drop-foot, contractures, brain injuries, CVA and Achilles rupture.
A rotator bar on the side aids control of leg and hip rotation, promoting better alignment.
With a floating heel design, the Phase II Multi Podus® Ankle Support removes pressure on the heel and improves circulation.
It is therefore ideal for people who are confined to bed for long periods.
The ankle section is reinforced in order to combat muscle tone issues and spasticity.
An inversion/eversion kit and replacement liners are available separately.
