It didn't work for me!
Review by M Kilsby Posted on 25/09/2017I’ve found a short video on the etac website showing how to put on the socky. However, even following these instructions, I can’t get the socky to work! I understand the theory but the hooks the sock is supposed to stay on before you pull up the socky aren’t pronounced enough for the tops of my socks, which are normally sized, not extra wide or extra roomy. The sock slides off the hooks before it’s fully pulled up. Additionally, the nylon is so slippery that it’s hard to keep the sock in the right position on the socky, i.e. With the heel pointing downwards. Sorry to be so negative after the rave reviews!

Very good
Review by V Carr Posted on 06/02/2014I purchased the etac socky stocking aid for my uncle who has a slight disability. He tells me he is now able to put his socks on in seconds where previously it took at least 30 mins.

EXCELLENT
Review by G mather Posted on 31/01/2014This etac socky short stocking aid was just what I needed to regain total independence when applying compression stockings after hip surgery. they're notoriously difficult to manage unaided and even with my daughters' help were quite a challenge until we were recommended this stocking aid. it's comfortable to use, even on a swollen leg, and I quickly mastered the technique after first practising with normal socks. it's well worth the money as part of the recovery process! g.mather.

Brilliant sock aid
Review by Philip Schofield Posted on 01/07/2013It's brilliant! I was shot down in a helicopter in 1978 and broke my back, head, arm and foot. Now i'm 60, the etac socky short stocking aid works perfectly and is good value.
