The Alexander Universal Furniture Raiser Mk2 provides a discreet and secure way to raise the height of your chair, armchair, or settee and is supplied in ready-to-go kits here.
If your furniture has castors, select the frames fitted with 6cm diameter round cups. These will safely support your furniture legs or castors, offering enhanced comfort and ease of use. Height and length adjustable, this raiser adapts to fit various furniture sizes, while other cups are available for specific needs.
The raiser is simple to install, requiring no tools. Just place each furniture leg or castor into the cup and secure it with a gentle clamping screw. Once fitted, the raiser eliminates the need for wall support, allowing easy repositioning around the room without dislodging, making it ideal for vacuuming or rearranging.
Built to the highest standards, the Alexander Universal Furniture Raiser is independently tested for stability, strength, and quality. With a weight capacity of up to 100 stone and compatibility with hoists and patient handling devices, this maintenance-free raiser is made from high-grade tubular steel, ensuring both durability and reliability in daily use.
Supplied in kits of two or three frames. Three frames will be needed for larger settees with a middle leg or castor, for example.
The pair of frames with 6cm Round Cups is also known as code, AL-RC. Your chair legs or castors sit neatly within the four 6cm diameter cups and are held in position with the small clamping screws and protective caps.
The pair of frames with 9cm Square Cups is also known as code, AL-SQ-3. This raiser comes supplied with four 9cm square cups to hold the furniture legs 4cm - 7.5cm square, but it is also suitable for round legs, rectangular legs or even inverted pyramid legs as long as they can fit in the cup.
Two frames with 11.5cm Square Cups is also known as code, AL-SQ-4. The raiser comes supplied with four 11.5cm square cups to hold the furniture legs 7.5cm - 10cm square (or round, rectangular legs or even inverted pyramid legs as long as they can fit in the cup).
